Establishment of COVID-19 Labs with Record Breaking Sample Processing Capabilities
Context
COVID-19 is a highly infectious disease; the high propagation rate of the virus has transformed what we define as normal. Under these extreme situations, the need to build two labs capable of processing a specific number of samples per day (>10K) within a short duration was set in motion. The lab processing capabilities depend on the type of testing, whether PCR or ELISA testing.
The Ask
This nationwide undertaking required a reliable consulting firm to help drive and manage the execution under extreme measures. Pace Consultants deployed their resources to help plan and orchestrate the delivery of the labs, aiding and ensuring the ramp-up of target processing output was achieved.

Outcomes
Despite the tight deadlines and unconventional circumstances due to COVID-19 lockdown, the labs were launched successfully on time and continued to ramp-up to meet set targets.
